1. Is the LED board installed indoors or outdoors?

Be aware of the differences between indoor and outdoor LED boards. For example, indoor products typically have lower pixel pitches and they are typically not weatherproof. Whereas, outdoor products are generally larger, have higher pixel pitch, and are weatherproof (see #3 below for more information on pixel pitch). Outdoor LED boards are also much brighter than indoor product because they are often exposed to sunlight, reducing the occurrence of overexposure.

2. What size of LED board is suitable for me?

LED board can scale to almost any size and shape, so it’s important to choose the right size screen for your event. For a smaller LED board, choose the 7′ x 12′ LED screen. If you’re holding a conference or concert in a large venue, you might consider an 18′ x 25′ or larger LED board. Or contact PixLED team, someone will measure the suitable screen size for you.

3. What pixel pitch is required?

Pixel pitch, sometimes called dot pitch, is related to resolution and determines how sharp an image is displayed on an LED board. The smaller the pixel pitch is, the less space will be between pixels, which means higher pixel density and higher screen resolution. However, the distance from the audience to the wall needs to be considered, if there is some distance between the people and the LED board, you can save money and use a larger pixel pitch. For small events where the audience is close to the wall, you need a small pixel pitch. For example P2.9mm is enough for closest viewers from 3 meters away. Transparent led screen

4. What aspect ratio is the best?

The aspect ratio represents the relationship between the width and height of the LED board. For example, a 1:1 ratio means that the width and height are equal to each other, while a 2:1 aspect ratio means that the width is twice the height.
